I'm forwarding this review of IIAB from John Kim.

John, Joel is actively working on the map search, it is very new.

Hi Braddock,

I had the chance to check out the complete IIAB dataset from the
website. The project has a lot of potential, and I really love the
mobile design it has. The software is buttery smooth, my favorite part.

As of 0.4.8 from the 'complete IIAB installation,' which I checked out,
ere are some of my thoughts on each of the sections - not necessarily in
order:

  * *Maps:* I like that the names pop up in the provinces, cities, etc.
as I zoom in with a double click of the mouse. The zooming is clear
and quite fast. But it's the search bar that still needs work. For
instance, typing in my address won't zoom me to my address. Nor
would typing Los Angeles. Although it appears on the list, clicking
on Los Angeles afterward doesn't zoom me to the location.
  * *Software*: I checked the universe folder, and what bothered me was
"last modified in 2012" for nearly all the packages. If it's not a
string error, then those packages need updates.
  * *Settings:* I noticed that the dataset hasn't actually changed yet.
    Will you update it soon?
  * *Books: *Excellent! I really had no problems with this. The only
problem are book names that bring up multiple results, like Moby
Dick. They're not very different from each other either.
  * *Videos: *Excellent! Hopefully, the team adds more than just Khan
Academy. Now, I don't know if this has been discussed, but what
would make it killer is implement a search feature for videos.
    Makes navigation a lot easier.

That is all. Would love to hear some commentary on this.

Thanks! And testing of the new features will begin very soon.
